The advantage of the analyzer is the ability to work with a whole blood sample. The devices allow assessing hemostasis to determine the risk of bleeding and thrombosis, as well as monitoring and correcting anticoagulant, antiplatelet, hemostatic, antifibrinolytic therapy, and allows identifying indications for transfusion of blood and blood components.
Thromboelastometry is included in the equipment standards for express laboratories at operating units and intensive care units.
